Our trip to Minute Maid park was for D's 1st baseball game!
We made it in time to watch batting practice! Which D loved. But by the time the balls starting coming to meet us, we decided to find our seats.
We had really great seats, courtesy of a vendor from work. And throughout the rest of the game it didn't get to crowded (b/c at the time the Astros weren't doing that great)...so there was plenty of room for D to run around.
He got to meet the mascot...who he was quite afraid of at first. But after he received a baseball from him it was golden.
We ended up seeing some of our friend's as their work had seats right behind us. Sure enough, D couldn't take his eyes off of them for the rest of the game.
We stayed till the very end and "tried" to watch the fireworks. D at first thought it was great, but the louder the popping got the more he wanted to go home. So...home we went. It was a nice family affair!
