I swear, a day or even morning at the museum calls for an nap when the kid takes a nap! Geesh!
We decided, with the cool weather our trip to the zoo was postponed, that we should head to the Children's Museum. To tell you the truth, it was not nearly as crowded as last year at 4th of July.
You could actually walk through the place without getting trampled by people and kids. Plus, with a not flustered self, I was actually able to see all the fun things they had to do for the kids outside of the toddler zone. But with that being said, we went up to the toddler area. It was fun, but yet a bit different from last time. Last time we were there D was still a fairly new walker or lets just not say running all over the place. So you could stay in one place and enjoy it. Nope! We felt like we were all over that place in the first 15 mins. Bouncing from one thing to the next...and then it started to get busy! So much, that I was bored.
After a trip downstairs to the grocery store, the bank, the art area and the police/fire station...we made one swoop through the big kid stuff and we were pooped!
The 3 hour morning downtown, felt like an entire day. Hello...couch!
