My First Christmas...presents, presents and more presents

I don't think the morning of Christmas, our little man had any idea what kind of excitement he was in for that day.

Our angel was as sweet as could be. Although he didn't want to cuddle much once he figured out that there were more things on the floor than usual. He headed straight towards all the presents and right for the shiny bows! He couldn't resist, but then again what 8 month old could? We opened some presents and would take a break and let him play. He did have interest in presents...he loved loved loved ripping the paper off of the boxes, and a few times he would get the biggest smile on his face when he saw the box. I really think it was coincidence that he was smiling at the other kids on the box, but I like to say he was excited about his presents. He loved when the bows would get stuck to the palm of his hand and would bang on the empty boxes. Everything everyone said was true, he had a hay day in all the paper.

By the time Grandma Barb and Grandpa Greg showed up, he was on his first nap of the day. Then it was time for round 2. Sure enough, one of his favorite toys is the laugh and learn table that Gdma and Grdpa got him, he won't leave it alone. That's all he needed, one toy, but he got many others...one day they will get played with.

Later that day (after yet another nap) we headed to Grandpa Hughes' house for round 3! Oh my, talk about stimuli, he had a ball. With the 3 boys running around with their remote controlled spiders, tankers and cars, he was very entertained and wasn't sure at times what to think. Once again, he got two more toys that are his top 3 from Christmas...baby laptop and the busy ball popper. He gets so excited he squeals, its hilarious!

All in all, Christmas this year was Magical, hot and humid, but Magical! Definitely one too many memories to write about but they are memories that will be remembered forever!

Merry Christmas our little one...we love you!!!
