Baking cupcakes and more...

With D's birthday coming up we set out to make cupcakes for his class to celebrate his birthday at school.

It was our first attempt with the lil dude helping me bake. Lately, all on his own, he will go get his step stool for the bathroom and push it to the kitchen to get something he wants or to help in the kitchen.

So on this night we got his stool, his favorite spoon and we got started.

We decided to do strawberry cupcakes, being that is his new favorite fruit these days. Plus, he isn't so keen on sweets so maybe having strawberry cupcakes, I thought he might actually eat them.

We stirred the mix, tried the batter and put the ingredients in the cups. For the entire rest of the night he couldn't stop talking about the "cupcakes".

They were a hit at school as they were all gone by the time we came to pick him up.

I just love our lil helper and baker! :)
